If so, our Marketing Specialist position might be perfect for you.We are looking for someone to champion our brand image and help us tell the Summit story to the world. The Marketing Specialist is an integral member of the Marketing Team, collaborating with the Vice President of Marketing and Brand Managers, in the execution of all marketing efforts. You’ll work on a wide range of initiatives, including brand awareness, new home sales and community outreach.What you’ll do- Design marketing collateral including flyers, social graphics, posters, email graphics and more- Design signage for sales centers and office spaces- Manage social channels and create content- Bring advertising campaigns to life by creating digital ads, social ads, print ads, billboards, and other promotional pieces- Develop internal marketing pieces to communicate the Summit brand, core values, mission and vision to the Summit Team- Coordinate with marketing to prepare needed promotional materials for company events- Collaborate with marketing team with ongoing social media strategy and schedule regular organic posting on company’s social media channels- Assist in planning and execution of community and Design Studio events- Assist in coordinate reoccurring company events including team lunches, Holiday party, trade party and Realtor parties- Help us create peak moments with each of home buyers- Assist in creating sense of community within our existing Summit communities- Oversee routine maintenance and updates for print marketing collateral- Oversee routine content updates and maintenance of company website- Brainstorm and develop creative new marketing initiatives and campaigns- Stay up to date with current marketing trends and new developments in digital, social and inbound marketing strategy and assist with evaluation and implementation of new strategiesWho you are- Bachelor’s degree, with emphasis in marketing and/or graphic design- 2-3 years experience in marketing, graphic design, communication or similar roles- Proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator- Proven success with posting and managing social channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok- Positive, professional, customer-service oriented personality- Must be high-energy, creative, outgoing and self-motivated- Comfortable posting and engaging on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter- Excellent communication and presentation skills- Excellent organizational and time management skills including significant attention to detail- A positive and adaptable approach to problem-solving- Some attendance at evening and weekend events required- Some travel required regionally and throughout the KC Metro- Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record- May be required to lift up to 40 lbs.- Employment subject to a background check, clean driving record, and drug screeningMarketing Specialist reports to the Vice President of Marketing.Applicants will be asked to share a portfolio of their work.
