Creation and maintenance of on-brand printed and digital marketing materials and digital content for the web, email, and social media. Education: Bachelor’s Degree Associate’s Degree (or other 2-year degrees) Tasks Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type. Use computer software to generate new images. Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork, using a computer. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed. Confer with management to discuss and determine layout design. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Internet websites. Key information into computer equipment to create layouts for client or supervisor. Study illustrations and photographs to plan the presentation of materials, products, or services. Prepare notes and instructions for workers who assemble and prepare final layouts for printing. Maintain archive of images, photos, or previous work products. Research new software or design concepts. Updating client AW for production. Desktop publishing software Adobe Systems Adobe InDesign Graphics or photo imaging software Adobe Systems Adobe Illustrator Adobe Systems Adobe Photoshop software Familiarity with: Print Process and Print Design Word Press to maintain/update website content Design digital content for email and newsletter marketing and social media |
