We are seeking a Digital Marketing Lead for a new product line that is in early-stage, digital growth, to help empowering consumers to improve their financial health. We continuously work to simplify the process of financial solutions discovery, learning, and selection, and partner with next-generation FinTechs to provide our users access to these best-in-class personalized solutions. We help people find what’s right for them, and help FinTechs fuel growth.

The role

This is a brand new position, reporting to the Head of Marketing & Growth, that will be joining a growing team building and scaling our consumer-facing web applications from scratch. We are seeking an accomplished, ambitious, tech-savvy digital performance marketer to strategize, manage, and execute our customer acquisition efforts across paid channels. You will champion our effort to grow awareness of our products, excite and attract users, and drive demand gen. You will be both highly analytical and creative storytellers, and passionate about consumer marketing and consumer engagement. To be successful, you will be highly results driven, process oriented, and exceptional at rapid testing, continually optimizing campaign performance based on derived insights and analytics. You will also have strong collaboration and communication skills, working cross-functionally to design, implement, and execute campaigns.

What you will do

Own the customer acquisition strategy development, channel management, and day to day execution across paid channels (e.g., search, social, programmatic)
Manage the paid marketing budget to meet aggressive spend and volume targets, while meeting CAC and Marketing Efficiency/ROAS goals
Be part of a growing but mighty team, and shape the way we go to market, build our brand, and engage customers
Effectively ideate, design, and launch acquisition campaigns across paid channels, including implementation, setup, launch and reporting
Develop and test new approaches to expand top of funnel and reach new audiences
Continuously optimize segments, audiences, keywords, messaging, ad copies, and ad creatives to identify opportunities and drive MROI
Develop hypotheses for key paid marketing levers, and design and launch campaigns to test them, e.g., A/B or multivariate tests
Track, measure, and analyze campaigns’ results to understand channel performance inside and out
Work with product, design, and development to implement landing pages and funnel improvements
Serve as an ad-tech expert and champion in the org, and work with product and development to improve the marketing tech stack to drive marketing personalization, automation, and efficiency
Manage relationship with our paid search partners (e.g., Google, Facebook)
Lead recurring (daily, weekly, monthly) channel performance reporting and insights synthesis, leveraging leading marketing and data analytics/BI tools

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree Required
5+ years experience leading paid search channel; programmatic and social experience a strong advantage
Expert level experience in campaign strategy, development, optimization tactics, and reporting
Experience managing media budgets over $500K per month
Proven track record of generating demand via Google, Bing, Yahoo, Facebook, LinkedIn & other display media channels
A strategic thinker who is an incredibly strong executor, hands-on, and getting into details
Strong analytical skills, with experience in testing and performance optimization
Expertise with analytics/BI tools
Knowledge and passion for the latest performance marketing tools, trends, techniques, ad technologies, attribution methodologies, and tracking techniques
Process driven mindset, high rigor, and strong project management skills
A self-starter, who can work around roadblocks and solve problems and is comfortable with ambiguity
A strong sense of responsibility and ownership in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced environment
Superior communications skills and ability to convey complex information in clear and simple terms
Ability to work across the organization, building healthy relationships regardless of role or level
(Advantage) Experience at FinTech / Tech companies in the personal finance / financial services industry
(Advantage) Experience working in a start-up / entrepreneurial environment
