Job Description : | Director, Product MarketingThe Sr. Product Marketing Manager will lead a team of PMM’s, the development and execution of Tipalti’s holistic product marketing strategy to improve our positioning, messaging, collateral and content development for various stakeholders (including sales, solutions consultants, SDRs, CSMs, industry analysts, corporate communications, field marketing and customer marketing), sales training / enablement and conversion, and owning the eventual Go-To-Market success for the product.You will work with marketing and other cross-functional teams including sales, product, alliance, solution consultants to ensure we are telling the right stories in the right formats throughout the buyer’s journey. This is a unique opportunity to join an exciting and innovative FinTech startup pioneering innovation in the Finance back-office in the areas of Accounts Payable, Procurement, Mass Payments. This role will report to Sr. Director of Portfolio Marketing.Responsibilities:Lead all product marketing activities for Accounts Payable, Procurement and Mass Payments – understand the challenges faced by each buyer persona; use this to create targeted messages addressing and solving these challengesDevelop Positioning, Core Messaging, advise on Product Packaging, and PricingDevelop points of view, buyer guides, customer case studiesShape and influence the GTM strategy and execution for the Tipalti solution setDevelop an effective product launch strategy and operationalize it across the organizationWork with almost every team in the organization on launch strategy and content, including everything from product decks to product screenshots, sales enablement materials, blog content, landing pages and website contentPartner with Analysts and Alliances team to develop and drive product messaging and responses to relevant submissionsBuild and deliver break-out and keynote presentations at industry conferences and being the main product evangelist for the productStay current on trends in Payments, Financials, ERP, Procurement SaaS, Cloud, IoT, Machine Learning, Blockchain and digital marketing to inform marketing strategyDevelop and maintain deep product and competitive knowledgePartner with customers and partners to create compelling case studies and testimonialsManage a team of PMM’sQualifications:8+ years experience B2B SaaS product marketing preferably in Accounts Payable, Invoicing, Payments, Procurement, ERP, Mass PaymentsResults-oriented and self-motivated, able to think strategically and execute tacticallyFast mover who can pivot quickly back and forth between the strategic and tactical, between short and long term projects, between product messaging and neutral category creation mindsetPossesses strong analytical, process, project management, verbal, written and presentation skillsDemonstrates strong collaboration, decision-making, and communication skillsEffectively communicate value propositions and drive initiatives across diverse audiencesBe scrappy, self-directed and able to move forward in a dynamic environmentBA/BS (preferably in business, engineering or a related field); MBA preferredPreferred QualificationsPrior domain experience in writing content targeting the following personas: CFO’s Controllers, VP of Finance, Chief Procurement Officers,CPA/Accounting background highly desirablePrior experience in product marketing, solution consulting, product management or sales#LI-ESPCompanies like Twitch, Twitter, GoDaddy, and Roblox entrust Tipalti to scale their business rapidly and dramatically reduce finance friction.
