We’re a group that is passionate about helping woodworkers find the best tools for their projects and their wood shops.We reach our customers through a multi-pronged marketing strategy that includes; print, digital, video and social media campaigns. We produce a print catalog that mails multiple times per year to our customer and prospect database. We send digital newsletters multiple times per week as well as creating daily posts for all of our social media channels. This marketing approach drives sales of our products and is integral to communicating our brand principles of quality, selection, value and customer service.How You’ll Make A Difference At Our CompanyYou’ll work within a marketing team and contribute your skills by helping us produce exciting email newsletter content and variations of our print catalog. You’ll be responsible for creating email newsletter campaigns and monitoring their performance. You’ll communicate with our printer and any other partners in our catalog printing supply chain to obtain competitive quotes as well as provide them files according to production deadlines. You’ll design catalog covers with the goal of having maximum sales impact and keeping us at the forefront of print marketing.How You’ll Make A Difference On The Digital And Social Side You’ll use email newsletter software to create marketing campaigns that feature the products we sell. Working with the marketing team you’ll use Trello to organize our email schedule and plan several weeks of emails in advance. You’ll work with our email software vendor to ensure we are getting the most use from the software and will monitor results of all email campaigns. Your responsibilities include daily updates to our social channels that highlight a product, upcoming event or happenings around the shop.Requirements The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and sales. We sell a niche product (woodworking tools) so if you love tinkering with tools or have a mechanical inclination you will love the products we sell. But you must be a ‘seller’ at heart. You have experience creating digital marketing, SEO and PPC campaigns. You love creating marketing campaigns and can analyze their results. In short, you could sell an igloo to an Eskimo.You must be highly organized and have multi-year experience in designing and bringing catalogs to press – on time. From conceptual design, multiple versions, final design, packaging of files, managing multiple vendor relationships, expectations and following through to print. You’ll also have at least two years of email marketing experience creating digital campaigns that get sent multiple times per week. You’ll need to be an expert user of the Adobe CS, and especially good with Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop. Knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro for video editing is a plus. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited University is required and you absolutely must have a great attitude and work very well on a small team.Qualifications: BA/BS in Graphic Design, Marketing, Advertising or significant work experienceProficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign etc.)Working knowledge of print design and printer requirementsDesign and deploy cohesive social media campaignsAbility to execute drag & drop email templatesMust be able to make creative changes to existing filesHighly organized and self-sufficientTeam player and can do attitude is a mustWhat We’re OfferingWe need the right person right away.
