Job Description :	Independent Natural Food Retailers Association (INFRA) is growing our capabilities and seeking a Marketing Strategist for our team! We work together leading the movement, driving the industry, and feeding the community. In this newly created position, you will work with a dedicated team of marketers, writers, storytellers, communicators, and program managers to increase INFRA’s brand presence in the industry (B2B) as well as strengthen our members’ brands (B2C). You will work in conjunction with the full INFRA Team to develop insights for reporting to program leads, re-evaluating, and retooling for increased engagement. Ultimately, our marketing strategist will support INFRA, our members, our vendors, and our partners by increasing our market awareness and ensuring brand consistency. What you will own and improve: Industry Trends & Insights Partner with internal teams to infuse project marketing insights into programs Consistently utilize B2B & B2C market research & trends for decision-making Develop insights and forecasting using data from shopper trend industry sources such as FMI and Dunnhumby – lead discussions and create actionable outcomes at all levels of the organizations Inspire innovation within INFRA and our team based on trend opportunities for our company and our partners Analytics, Data Collection, and Storytelling Develop goals and KPIs for marketing campaigns both B2B & B2C Draw meaningful conclusions from campaign data and partner with program leads to identify and implement opportunities for increased engagement Identify opportunities for gathering information and identifying gaps – create, monitor, analyze and create actions from insights within KPI measurements Connection of B2B and B2C Marketing Customize & implement strategic B2B PR & marketing campaigns based on INFRA’s True North and Strategic Priorities Connect what is happening in the industry to member impact and create B2C campaigns for members to stay innovative, on trend, and sustainable Centralized marketing strategy in alignment with omnichannel strategy Develop forward thinking brand presence in all marketing channels, campaigns, and etc. Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business targets Demonstrate ability to understand audience and market trends in the development and implementation of B2B and B2C marketing strategies – partner with full team for consistent voice and message Marketing campaigns – B2B & B2C Generate innovative concepts to expand the INFRA brand presence Develop digital strategies and campaigns to increase traffic and engagement across all channels Direction and creation of marketing collateral (including web content, signage, presentations, publications, etc) that are audience connected and in line with brand standards Team Leadership Commitment to recruiting, mentoring, training, retaining, and professionally growing a diverse team Act as a connector – leverage strengths of the MarCom team contributors to clarify roles and responsibilities with the foresight and ability to delegate – ensure clear and measurable goal setting What you already know/have: 5+ years’ experience in a role such as – Marketing Strategist, Marketing Manager, Marketing Analyst, Insights Manager, Digital Analyst, Account Planner, or similar A curiosity for new learning – preference given to candidates with continual learning and training Retail industry and/or professional services experience preferred Demonstrated experience creating actionable outcomes based on insights, trends, and forecasting Demonstrated leadership acumen, including leading through influence Experience finding and translating analytics into meaningful/actionable storytelling and outcomes Experience creating and aligning B2B & B2C marketing campaigns and strategies Demonstrable experience with digital marketing campaigns and web technologies (e.g. online tools and social media) Understanding of audience and comfort tailoring any message in any format Demonstrated experience with a variety of design platforms, such as Adobe or Canva Ability to build current and future industry relationships, great working relationships, and communicate effectively with any audience in any format Autonomous and self-driven to succeed and help others succeed Ability to connect the dots across team, partners, industry and beyond; effective and curious critical thinking skills Experience balancing strategy with management and tactics What you will learn: How INFRA is a member cooperative whose primary goal is to support our membership toward sustainability & innovation through operational excellence and best practices. Travel up to 15% may be required for this position, when deemed safe due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This role is remote during the COVID-19 pandemic.
