NTTA is a vibrant organization with a highly qualified, energized and engaged team and we are looking for talented individuals to join us.Job Description: The Senior Digital Communications Specialist is responsible for shaping the voice of all aspects of NTTA’s online presence and for enhancing NTTA’s communications initiatives to improve how we connect and engage with consumers, employees, media, and other audiences. The Senior Digital Specialist is a motivated self-starter who takes initiative and develops digital strategy, including SEO, and customer engagement. This role also crafts content for e-newsletters, social media, blogs and other non-paid digital outreach campaigns.The Senior Specialist collaborates with the Senior Marketing Manager and Senior TollTag Marketing Specialist to develop and execute the social media strategy in accordance with the paid advertising strategy and creates original content and posts content for all NTTA social media channels. Drives customer participation in all digital platforms including website, intranet and social media. Works closely with other members of Public Affairs to create stories, videos and other materials for online conversation. Works with the Public Affairs team and updates website content, ensuring all content adheres to writing style and brand design standards. Also must ensure all website content is updated and current. Gathers and develops new content to support Public Affairs activities and organizational initiatives. Analyzes social media and website traffic, reviews its effectiveness and makes revisions to content and plan when necessary. Ability to work on multiple projects at once. Works with advertising agency as it relates to all paid social media and website objectives. Reports to the Senior Marketing Manager.Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Pay: Starts at $56,245 and could be more depending on directly related experience. Job Responsibilities: Website Content Development & Management· Review web content regularly to ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate, and respond to requests to update and maintain time-sensitive material· Collaborate with the Public Affairs team to leverage the website to meet marketing and PR campaign objectives· Coordinate web projects across departments to create and publish digital content· Organize and publish content so that it’s easily digestible in an online or mobile environment and supports intuitive navigation· Suggest new content, revisions and other improvements. Work with other team members to develop content, add functionality to digital platforms where needed and maximize effectiveness· Create SEO strategy, including development of list of keywords for use in all digital channels, perform SEO audits and determine off-page optimization opportunities· Develop creative promotional copy and web banners that highlight NTTA campaigns and objectives leading to increased ROI· Work with advertising agency to integrate creative campaign elements into the website and organic social media for a consistency in messaging· Leverage NTTA sponsorships in digital channels to increase TollTag penetration, use and new TollTag accountsSocial Media· Develop creative content and online marketing campaigns for informational, educational and promotional purposes for all NTTA social channels· Develop social media contest/sweepstakes that promote NTTA products and services· Leverage social media activity to increase number of new TollTag accounts that enhance NTTA’s business, marketing and public relations strategies· Use Facebook to engage with customers. Work with Customer Service department as a resource to help resolve customer issues in social media channels· Study audience behavior on social channels to develop plans that will reach select demographics, resulting in increased number of new TollTag accounts and positive customer interaction· Study trends in social media, research popular social media platforms, study emerging social media and digital tools and use those findings to recommend new tactics and channels to increase NTTA’s social media reach and engagementEmail Communications· Design, layout and develop content for e-newsletters including, TollTag Insider and other specialty e-newsletters· Review and respond to customer emails sent to Marketing· Track and report metrics for all NTTA e-newsletters on a monthly basis· Research email and e-newsletter trends and prepare recommendations of new tactics to keep content fresh and user friendlyAnalysis & Evaluation· Lead digital analytics and metrics reporting, track usage and effectiveness of websites and digital interactive communications· Compile and analyze data through Google Analytics to track usage and effectiveness· of website, intranet and interactive digital communications· Study audience behavior on social media channels to develop plans that will reach select demographics that results in increased new TollTag accounts and positive/neutral customer interaction· Study trends in social media, research popular social media platforms, study emerging social media tools and channels and use those findings to recommend tactics to increase NTTA’s social media outreach and customer engagement· Create “After Action” reports detailing and evaluating various metrics for social media and website campaigns for effectiveness and ROI· Use analysis of website and social media metrics/data to create a plan to increase readership and engagement of digital communications including, but not limited to, customer emails, website and e-newsletters· Create ‘virtual’ focus groups quarterly to determine NTTA’s effective use of digital channels and messaging· Work with Customer Service to identify customer behavioral trends and address those in all digital channelsAdvertising Agency· Work with advertising agency on how creative concepts will translate and perform on social media· Determine strategy to enhance paid social media campaigns using organic channelsJob Requirements: Formal Education: Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.- Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital communications, marketing or similar discipline preferred.Experience: Over three years and up to and including five years’ experience in a digital communications, and/or social media role- Creative writing and organizational skills a must. E-commerce/marketing background preferred.- Savvy in all digital communications platforms with ability to determine trends in communications, social media and make recommendations on trends- Expert in best practices in digital communications- At least two years of website content management, use of a content management system and measurement- Demonstrated experience leading and executing digital communications plans and growing engagement and brand visibility- Familiarity with all digital and video tools and processes for creating and editing all digital communicationsSupervision: Work requires functioning as a lead worker performing essentially the same work as those directed, and includes overseeing work quality, training, instructing, and scheduling work. (Medium degree of complexity of work performed by those being supervised.)- Position has no direct reports but coordinates with and provides guidance to other staff/departments to carry out web content and functionality projects.Human Collaboration Skills: Work may require providing advice to others outside direct reporting relationships on specific problems or general policies involving digital communications. Must have the communications skills to listen to different points of view and manage solutions or compromises where needed without any escalation.
