Position: Senior Digital Media Specialist – 22-00497
Location: Kenilworth, NJ
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the US Media Strategy Oncology Team Lead, the position will lead the development of consumer media strategy in support of the Oncology franchise in alignment with our customer experience and digital strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of digital, traditional and social media experience and have the skills to educate as well as the passion to influence and be a leader in change management.
The strategist will develop media plans that incorporate emerging trends and opportunities that align to business objectives and are rooted in customer and patient insights.
This position is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders across our company’s Divisions, Business Units, Brand Marketing, Customer Insights, Analytics, Market Research, Legal, Regulatory, Privacy, as well as external Agencies and Vendor Partners to drive advancement and innovation across paid and owned media.
This role requires a high degree of visibility to senior management.
Primary Responsibilities:
Approach in a way that aligns with latest consumer and media trends, emerging technology, video, advanced targeting, and segmentation
Manage media agency of record to develop media plans that align with business objectives and consumer insights; track campaign analysis, optimization and reporting
Continue to evolve key performance indicators and measurement framework
Develop and grow direct relationships with key media vendors (Google, Facebook, Client, etc.)
Partner with Marketing to define target audience and align relevant messaging and creative
Oversee multiple efforts at once, from top-line to details
Continuously assess and challenge current practices/process and identify opportunities for improvement
Ensure excellent communication flows with clients, team and others at all times
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, processes, guidelines and principles.
Qualifications:
Education Minimum Requirement: Associates Degree Required and Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. (More than 10 years of exp. candidate will likely be over qualified for this role)
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum 4-8 years of experience as a Media Leader with emphasis on demonstrated digital media expertise. Candidate should have proven ability to develop media strategies with effective implementation and realization.
Successful track record in managing large scale brand budgets.
Demonstrated experience in managing vendor/agency relationships Exceptional communication and relationship management skills deep, cross-functional collaboration is required.
Ability to form strong relationships and operate with leadership and peers.
Business Acumen, problem solving and demonstrated understanding of end-to-end Digital Marketing Process.
Healthcare/ Pharma (especially oncology) marketing/media experience is highly preferred but not required.
