| Job Description : | Summary The Blue Cherry Group Affiliate Marketing Analyst will work within our integrated client teams supporting the management of a portfolio of affiliate marketing programs and delivering strong business results.The ideal candidate is best supported having two years of work experience in digital affiliate marketing, or other relevant base of experience with the basics of affiliate marketing. We seek an individual who is self-motivated and a skilled collaborator with a positive outlook, who is eager to support the BCG vision and mission and share and apply their knowledge as they are learning.Passion for digital marketing and the advertising industry is important.Job Description & Duties: · Support the implementation of account strategies for assigned and/or team accounts in accordance with client goals· Daily servicing of affiliate marketing programs including: competitive analysis, determine appropriate commission rates and offers, create and send newsletters and top publisher emails, account optimization, trademark monitoring, handle order inquiries, applications, placement opportunities, perform account audits, make network deposits, issue monthly new publisher activation emails· Support account managers in affiliate recruitment· Support account managers in monitoring client performance and pitching new opportunities for assigned accounts; send client correspondence· Set agendas for all client status calls, take notes and send recaps; day-to-day troubleshooting· Generate reports in response to client and internal requests, support account manager in account analysis as needed· Delegate to and review work done by coordinator; provide input on coordinator performance; onboard new coordinators· Collaborate closely with team members and communicate to team management on project development, timelines, and results· Monitor trends, best practices, techniques in the digital affiliate marketing landscape; participate in internal trainings and industry events as appropriate· Work to develop a solid understanding of client’s business and effectively transfer this knowledge to initiatives that help achieve client goals· Obtain and maintain relevant certifications (eg Google Analytics)· Maintain a steady learning curve toward the knowledge and skill set of advanced roles 3 Professional Competencies:· Excellent verbal and communication skills· Strong problem identification and resolution skills· Strong analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills· High levels of integrity and self-motivation, able to work well autonomously as well as within a team· Detail oriented and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere Professional Skills & Qualifications: Required:· Two years experience in affiliate marketing or a strong understanding of affiliate marketing from other related positions· Bachelors degree with solid educational background in critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and writing· Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel· Experience with Google AnalyticsAbout Blue Cherry GroupBlue Cherry Group is a digital advertising agency located in NYC.
