Digital Asset Manager works closely with a variety of Chase teams to plan asset centralization, build and curate enterprise-level repositories, and track asset effectiveness across multiple digital channels. Key focus areas include reimagining asset management processes, planning migrations, and expanding client capabilities with automation, AI, and advanced analytics.
Act as a DAM ambassador to drive adoption and best practices. Work closely with change management resources to plan training and knowledge transfers to content creators and stakeholders.
Serve as a key subject matter expert and change manager for AEM Assets implementation, advocating for and creating internal awareness about the DAM, including its overall purpose and benefits.
Serve as the liaison between AEM Publishing team, creative groups and project teams to communicate the status of images, planned upload dates, replacement file notifications and final cropping deliveries
Help to drive day-to-day DAM governance, defined by the DAM governance team, (i.e. naming conventions, required metadata fields, assets are uploaded the right way and in the right location).
Perform ongoing digital asset maintenance and curation activities such as bulk updates (to expand/refine metadata), collection creation, search/filtering optimization, archiving, and smart tagging training.
Find, suggest, and implement efficiencies and improvements in workflows and processes to increase automation and decrease time to market.
Develop training materials for content creators and stakeholders and deliver various forms of education such as demos, walk-throughs, and Train-the-Trainer.
Provide communications, training, and ongoing releases related to the DAM capabilities and feature updates to system users.
Own the asset retention policy, process & procedures for DAM assets
Help to troubleshoot DAM-related technical issues in partnership with IT and the dev team
Understand color models, ICC profiles and configuration of AEM to process CMYK assets
Stay current on evolving asset management technologies to shape recommendations for classification, workflows, rights management, analytics, and AI features.
Define KPIs and track metrics such as reuse, adaptation, activation, and ROI to feed reporting materials to support continued investment in DAM system
Qualifications
Ideal candidate should have at least five (5) years of experience working as a DAM SME, managing digital assets for large organizations in AEM Assets, including a strong technical knowledge of the capabilities of AEM Assets
Knowledge of AEM 6.5 or higher capabilities is a major plus
Digital Marketing and Social experience is a major plus
Experience working with geographically separate project teams
Experience with unit testing and automated testing tools
Excellent estimation abilities in scoping work in a highly complex environment
Exposure to open-source technologies
Superior problem solving, organizational, decision-making, written, oral and interpersonal skills
