Do you open every email subscription you get if only to analyze what they’re doing right or wrong? Smashtech is looking for a rockstar email marketer to join our team. Email is a key driver in our Direct Response strategy and you’ll play a major role in helping us reach our ambitious conversion rate goals. You’ll be responsible for driving sales growth and recurring purchases at the bottom of the funnel and engaging our customers at the top of the funnel. You will maintain our existing email marketing strategy and be responsible for continuously improving and raising response and conversion rates through messaging and content adjustments. In addition, you will provide recommendations to ensure that all email creative is high quality, delivered on time, and meet or exceed response and conversion goals and metrics. You are a talented email professional who can creatively tell a story based on data. With a proven e-commerce track record you prefer to test, segment, and personalize rather than “batch-and-blast.” You know email best practices but would prefer to push the limits of what’s possible. Job Responsibilities Utilizing the Klaviyo platform, drive Direct Response marketing emails to utilize best practices, optimizing for conversions Work closely with the Marketing Team and content production team members to develop engaging visual and copy assets that meet campaign requirements and objectives Identify, take ownership of, and execute new Direct Response campaigns that will accelerate our brands’ sales growth Create and execute data-driven, segmented, dynamic campaigns delivered to the right people at the right time Lead the collection of data and processes to track and measure interactions between our customers and our brands throughout the customer lifecycle Fully understand primary inboxing best practices Maintain the email marketing calendar and manage email production Own the message content and subject line copywriting Guide email segmentation, targeting, and lead nurture strategies. Assist in all aspects of email creation: design, copywriting, strategy, and split-testing Build emails using mobile-friendly HTML email templates. Develop new responsive or mobile-friendly HTML email templates.
