Overview:
The Automated Marketing Specialist will be an integral member of GM Financial’s Customer Experience team. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing campaigns that deliver a unified, personal experience for GM Financial customers, while leveraging cutting edge marketing technology via the Adobe Experience Cloud platform. If you have experience coding for email, a solid understanding of email best practices, can build multi-channel workflows, play nice with others and have the drive to tweak and tinker with new ideas, we’d like to hear from you. Responsibilities:
JOB DUTIES
Collaborate with project management, marketing team, and internal business leaders to successfully execute campaigns, ensure marketing automation best practices, and capture feedback for platform and process enhancements
Develop accurate campaign reports and dashboards and ensure timely distribution to key stakeholders
Ensure development and integration for web, email, and advertising platforms for the overall sales and marketing automation ecosystem
Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to find inventive ways to improve campaign performance and evolve the marketing automation platforms
Manage marketing programs from inception to completion, including development of campaign objectives, selection criteria, production and measuring results
Plan and implement trigger-based nurturing programs that target all stages of the customer life cycle, from new prospects to engagement to closed opportunities
Generate targeting and segmentation, list criteria and modeling specifics
Monitor, interpret and report on direct marketing campaign performance to Marketing colleagues and senior management
Assist with production of other direct marketing projects as required
Ensure direct marketing projects are completed on-time, on-budget, and adhere to campaign goals
Manage production of other email marketing projects
Collaborate with operations on enhancing and troubleshooting issues with the lead management process and integrations with marketing automation platforms
Champion the quality of data in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems; collaborate with sales and marketing teams to ensure required data is captured at all customer touch points
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Knowledge
Build, proof, and revise highly dynamic email and mobile campaigns, templates and workflows in Adobe Experience Manager and Campaign
Deploy email and SMS messages, and manage change rounds
Maintain and update marketing automation programs
Utilize Adobe Campaign, Excel and/or Salesforce to modify and update subscriber lists and create segmentation groups
Communicate with internal team members effectively to execute email campaigns
Complete quality assurance checks on every email campaign
Provide actionable campaign optimization insights based on campaign analysis
Collaborate and contribute ideas at marketing planning meetings
Good understanding of designing for mobile devices and responsive design
Develop and document efficiencies in current and future processes
Thorough understanding of the email campaign building process with highly dynamic content
Develop and manage highly dynamic email templates

Education
High School Diploma required
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent experience required
Experience
2-4 years Digital Marketing experience required
2-4 years Adobe Campaign or similar marketing automation platform required
0-2 years Financial Services or Automotive Marketing Experience preferred
Working Conditions
Normal office environment subject to stressful situations
Flexible schedule with possibility of working long hours including weekends/holidays, occasional overtime or split shifts may be required
Limited travel may be required to support business needs
Strong focus on providing quality service to internal and external customers
