Marketing Brand Specialist, Marshalls
We are looking for a motivated, experienced, self-starter to join our Brand Marketing team as a Marketing Specialist. At Marshalls we pride ourselves in having a fresh array of fashionable and brand name apparel, home furnishing and more. You’ll learn what makes Marshalls a leader in the off-price retail space. With over 1,000 stores and growing, it’s a great time to join our Brand Marketing team, supporting Marshalls.
The Marketing Brand Specialist will be working on the team responsible for building national brand awareness and consideration that will position Marshalls for future growth. The role will be responsible for assisting in the development of a variety of programs within the Marshalls multi-channel marketing strategy including: video production including national TV and online video; radio; and branded partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Execution
Responsible for the day-to-day execution of the Marshalls cross-channel marketing strategy initiatives to drive brand goals.
Oversee the execution and implementation of Marshalls seasonal campaigns across Brand and Grand Openings which include supporting the development of tv, online video, digital content, radio, brand partnerships, etc.
Proactively collaborate and communicate effectively across cross-functional business teams including Creative partners, Brand Teams, Digital Marketing and Media to execute the end-to-end content creation, from development to implementation.
Support the Marketing Supervisor and Manager(s) in reviews of all creative content to ensure a consistent voice in alignment with Marshalls brand guidelines and messaging themes.
Assist in Grand Openings through event support, creative execution campaign work via multi-media channels, such as digital and social media, video, audio, print and in-store
Develop and write compelling creative briefs and input creative teams on the development of creative assets for campaigns/initiatives.
Assist in maintaining the Marshalls Production and Fees budgets by tracking estimates and invoices as well helping to identify opportunities to control costs.
Agency Collaboration & Management
Assist in the management of agency and 3rd party partners as needed to develop marketing campaigns and content.
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills
Works well as a team and as an independent contributor
Experience collaborating with partners in areas of the business outside of marketing
Strong organization, presentation and writing skills
Strong communicator with an attention to detail and ability to multitask
Ability to problem solve and work in the grey
Thrive on working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required
1-2 years’ experience in marketing preferred, agency experience a benefit
