On the heels of our recent $270M funding and $8.3B valuation, we are looking to hire a strategic, driven and creative Social Media and Influencer Manager to drive brand awareness, audience engagement and build third-party relationships. Reporting into the Head of Communications and PR, this position will be Tipalti’s leading voice on social media/influencer. They will oversee social media campaigns, focusing on collaborating with marketing stakeholders, generating content, posting, driving engagement, managing accounts and tracking performance. This person will also be highly involved in Influencer Relations, helping introduce Tipalti to leading industry pundits, including relationship development, engaging influencers in Tipalti events and marketing activities and overall program management.The right person for this role will be an independent self-starter who also loves to collaborate with a broader team to brainstorm innovative campaigns and ideas that actionably and measurably help us achieve our business goals. They love a challenge and the opportunity to work with a fast-moving marketing team.ResponsibilitiesHands-on creation, management and optimization of organic social media campaigns to drive high-quality leads and pipeline with a focus on engagement.Oversight and management of all key social channels, starting with LinkedIn and TwitterDevelop and own a social media content calendar, focusing on moving content from reporting company news to driving industry engagement and building an audience.Connect and build relationships for Tipalti with industry influencers, lead strategy and work closely with influencers for creator content to support the Tipalti brand.Engage influencers across Tipalti’s landscape of marketing activities, such as events, webinars and our customer event, Illuminate.Serve as a liaison across the marketing team and support the social strategy for campaigns, events and partnerships.Oversee tools and technology that encourage employee engagement on social and guide strategy.Maintain reports, budgets, campaign performance, return on investment and other channel metrics.Drive end-to-end annual and quarterly planning for organic social media and influencer relations.Collaborate cross-functionally with field marketing, demand gen, creative services and public relations to refine messaging across the social media landscape.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field8+ years of digital marketing and social media experience.Knowledge of key social media tools and platforms such as Salesforce, Oktopost, HootSuite, Sprout and/or Sprinklr (for example)Proven ability to think and act strategically to build a long-term social media presence in support of business objectives and goals.Ability to be creative and develop engaging social media content that’s aligned with the company brand and drives audience engagement.Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine and execute improvements.Proven effectiveness in building and maintaining strong relationships with high-level influencers.A strong communicator who can efficiently communicate takeaways and insights to drive improvements both up and down the team.Project management experience and proven ability to meet deadlines.Companies like Twitch, Twitter, GoDaddy, and Roblox entrust Tipalti to scale their business rapidly and dramatically reduce finance friction.
